IN Better man, Robbie Williams is a monkey man. But irl? He is a man of the cloth. Ordained minister Robbie Williams officiated at a wedding at a screening in New York Better man this weekend. “At today’s BETTER MAN Q&A in NYC, Robbie Williams was vulnerable, receptive to the audience’s energy, took time to have a heart-to-heart with his daughter, and then a man in the audience asked him as an ordained minister to officiate a marriage with his engaged,” wrote blogger Ezra Cubero on Twitter. “Incredible.”

While Williams is ordained by Universal Ministries, this wedding probably still doesn’t count for things like taxes. No marriage license, no marriage. Still, it’s a nice statement. “By the power that absolutely no one has given me — it’s not legally binding, but it’s legally binding in your heart and your heart and my heart,” he said before joining I Do’s. Williams then announced the couple as husband and wife while holding a giant slushie from concessions. Better man‘s debuted in the US this weekend to just $1.1 million ticket office. But no one should get married at Den of Thieves 2 screenings, are they?
