TV Line‘s Matt Webb Mitovich was asked if the show had received more episodes from ABC.

He shared, “No, production on Season 1 has wrapped — but please note that the ABC hit’s first-year run is actually 13 episodes,” as opposed to the 10 episodes that some shows get. No information has been revealed at this time about a potential second season, but fans are wondering if an announcement could be coming.

Tonight, a brand new episode of High potential is airing and it’s the ninth episode of Season 1. So there’s still a handful left before the finale!

High potential follows a single mother (Kaitlin Olson) with an unusual mind whose unconventional crime-solving skills lead to an unusual and unstoppable partnership with a seasoned detective by the book (Daniel Sunjata). The series also features Javicia Leslie as Daphne, Mediterranean Sea as Lev “Oz” Ozdil, Amirah J as Ava, Matthew Lamb like Elliot and Judy Reyes like Selena.

The ABC series is based on the popular French series High Potential Intellectual (HPI).
