Alabama basketball freshman out vs. Ole Miss

Alabama basketball forward Derrion Reid is out for Tuesday’s game against Ole Miss.

On Monday, the five-star freshman was listed as “questionable” with an undisclosed injury on the SEC availability report.

Reid was unavailable for the no. 5 Crimson Tide’s game against South Dakota State, seen wearing a boot on his right foot during warmups after what Nate Oats called a “flare up” from an injury sustained in the summer.

Reid returned for the conference opener against Oklahoma, with 11 points and three rebounds in the win. He recorded nine points, three assists and two rebounds against South Carolina before a 2-for-8 outing from the floor at Texas A&M on Saturday, his worst shooting performance of the season.

With Reid, Houston Mallette (knee) and Latrell Wrightsell Jr. (Achilles tendon) Alabama has three players on the injured list against Ole Miss.
