Both teams come into the matchup at 1-3 in Big 12 play and their overall records are identical. BYU is 10-5 overall, while Oklahoma State is 9-6.

It will be the 10th all-time meeting between BYU and Oklahoma State, with BYU holding a 5-4 edge in the all-time series. The two teams split the games last season and both earned wins on their home turf.
