Boil Water Advisory issued in Wildwood, Mo.

WILDWOOD, Mo. (First Alert 4) – Missouri American Water (MAW) has issued a Precautionary Boil Water Advisory in Wildwood due to “operational issues at the facility.”

According to MAW, the notice took effect at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday and is expected to last for 48 hours.

Residents in the affected area are asked to boil water used for drinking or cooking for 3 minutes.

According to MAW, water is okay for bathing, washing and other non-consumable purposes. Customers will receive a notification with updates if other immediate action is required or when normal water use can resume.
