The game Lakers vs Hornets has been rescheduled

Last week, as wildfires began to rage out of control across Southern California, Los Angeles Lakers had games originally scheduled for Thursday and Saturday postponed. These matches were to take place against Charlotte Hornets and the San Antonio Spurs, respectively.

Now that firefighters have made some progress on those fires, the game the Lakers were supposed to play against the Hornets has reportedly been rescheduled. To facilitate the number of back-to-back games they will eventually have this season, an extra game was also moved.

Via ESPN:

“The Los Angeles Lakers’ game against the Charlotte Hornets, originally scheduled for January 9th, will now be played at Crypto.com Arena on February 19th.

“Due to that move, the Lakers’ home game against the Utah Jazz has been moved up one day to February 10.”

After hosting the Jazz on Feb. 10, the Purple and Gold will travel to Salt Lake City for another game against the Jazz on Feb. 12 before starting their All-Star break. That break will end with the rescheduled contest against Charlotte, which will be followed by a road game against the Portland Trail Blazers the following night.
