20 cars, five tracks, a new physics engine, in-game economy, dynamic weather and time – but no multiplier, free-roam, tuning, career or photo mode.

When the full Assetto Corsa EVO is expected to be released towards the end of 2025, it will feature a creator roster of venues, modes, features and over 100 cars.

Between 16 January 2025, at 14:00 UTC, early access release and ‘version 1.0’, the price is set to rise to its final resting point as features increase.

But here we sit, only a few hours from the original version going on sale, and the price is still top secret.

There’s also been the odd use of the term ‘Car Pack’ during the game’s pre-launch social media – a term usually saved for DLC.

Strange.

The only snippet we have to go on is developer Kunos Simulazioni’s co-founder and CEO Marco Massarutto saying that pricing will be “aggressive” at the recent SimRacing Expo.

When its last title entered a similar early access process, Assetto Corsa Competizione, it was priced at £22.49 / $24.99 / €24.99.
