SeatGeek’s director of growth marketing Chris Leyden told Forbes that this season’s game is “shaping up to be the most coveted in SeatGeek’s history,” likely because “two of the most passionate and dedicated fan bases in college football … are showing up in full force , stimulates demand.”

StubHub told Forbes on Wednesday that sales for Monday’s game were 85% higher than at the same time last year and had already surpassed the final sales of all championship games on the platform from 2019 to 2023.
