Opening Saturday for new sportsbook at Hollywood Casino York

Hollywood Casino York will host the grand opening of its new ESPN BET retail sportsbook at 1 p.m. Saturday.

Sports betting has seen explosive growth since Pennsylvania opened the new industry to statewide casinos.

Hollywood Casino York, for example, reported more than 200% growth in sports revenue over the past year.

The sportsbook opening in York County will coincide with ESPN BET’s launch at the Hollywood Casino at Penn National Racecourse in Grantville.

In York, the ESPN BET sportsbook is located just outside the table gaming area and features one of the area’s largest, high-definition, multi-screen video walls with bar and food service, according to Penn National Gaming.

Whether you’re an experienced player or just here to enjoy the atmosphere, this state-of-the-art sportsbook delivers the ultimate sports experience in a setting like no other,” said Shaun Williams, Hollywood Casino York’s general manager, in a statement.

Saturday’s grand opening will feature brief remarks from the general manager, the ceremonial ribbon cutting, along with various promotions.
