Trisha Paytas accused of copying Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras’ name and aesthetic for 2025 tour

On Thursday, Jan. 16, YouTube star Trisha Paytas took to social media to announce details of her upcoming 2025 The Eras of Trish Tour, which kicks off Feb. 20 in Indianapolis and runs through June.

Shortly after Paytas’ announcement, fans of both the YouTuber and Taylor Swift began reacting to what is now being dubbed a parody of Swift’s of Eras Tour.

This was due to the use of the term ‘era’, which is popularly associated with the pop star, as well as her costume, which Paytas blatantly copied. In the tour poster, Paytas posed wearing a bodysuit similar to Atelier Versace’s bejeweled version, which Swift wore under her Love set.

“CAN’T WAIT TO PERFORM AND HUG YOU .”, Paytas captioned the announcement post on Instagram along with information about ticket availability.

On social media platform X, some users called out the Just Trish podcast host for ripping off Swift’s look and aesthetic, while others questioned whether this was even legal due to copyright issues.

Others simply focused on the trip itself and expressed excitement at the prospect of participating.

Speaking about the tour on her podcast, Paytas previously mentioned that it would be based on different eras of her life and would include songs from her upcoming album, scheduled for release on February 15.
