Schedule of events surrounding Trump’s second inauguration

WASHINGTON (AP) — The carnival and the festivities surrounding it The inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump kicks off this weekend with fireworks and a rally before Monday’s dedication ceremony, parade and balls.

Saturday

Cabinet dinner:

Vice President-elect JD Vance will attend an evening reception for incoming Cabinet members and host a dinner in Washington.

Fireworks show:

Trump will host an evening reception and fireworks display at his golf club in Sterling, Virginia.

Sunday

Arlington Ceremony:

The president-elect will attend a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery.

MAGA rally:

In the evening, Trump will hold a campaign-style “MAGA Victory” rally at Capital One Arena in downtown Washington, DC
