Bronny James and boyfriend Parker Whitfield were spotted wearing matching hoodies to Bryce James’ senior night

Bronny James and his boyfriend, Parker Whitfield, rocked matching hoodies to Bryce James’ senior night at Sierra Canyon High School on Thursday. LeBron James’ family, along with Whitfield, wore custom black outfits with a graphic representing Bryce to show support for the 17-year-old during the Trailblazers’ home game against the Loyola Cubs.

The school also celebrated Bryce by framing his jersey as a gift and announcing his accomplishments before the start of the game.

The game ended with Sierra Canyon winning a dominant 84-42 victory, with Bryce James recording 12 points, five rebounds and four assists.

Bronny James and Parker Whitfield attended high school together in Sierra Canyon and were first linked as a couple when they were spotted holding hands in Paris during the 2024 Olympics. Whitfield is currently a sophomore at Spelman College in Atlanta.

Bronny James’ one-word reaction to Bryce James’ Arizona announcement

Earlier this month, Bryce James announced that he had committed to play NCAA basketball at Arizona. The 6-foot-6 guard revealed his decision with an Instagram post of him in a Wildcats jersey.

While Bryce left the post without a caption, Bronny James commented:

“Yessirrrrrrr.”

The four-star prospect in ESPN’s Class of 2025 had offers from various colleges, including Duquesne and his father’s beloved Ohio State Buckeyes. USC, where Bronny played for one season, also signaled their interest in Bryce.

Bryce’s decision to join Arizona has the full support of his parents. Appearing on Tuesday’s episode of “The GoJo and Golic Show,” LeBron James addressed his second son’s decision:

“(Arizona) recruited Bryce very hard and believed in Bryce and believed in his maturation process.

“He’s come so far as a basketball player and as a young man. He made his own decision and as parents, myself and Savannah, we just support him, you know? We’re excited for his next chapter when he gets down there, and hopefully I don’t need to buy the equipment.” (8:18 a.m.)

After Bronny was drafted by the LA Lakers 55th overall in the 2024 NBA draft, Bryce will have the chance to become the third member of the James family to play in the NBA, depending on his time with Arizona.
