The Eagles closed the regular season with the NFL’s second best rushing attack, which helped keep their offense afloat as the snow fell during Sunday’s divisional-round showdown.

Philadelphia was led by Saquon Barkley once again as the three-time Pro Bowl running back rushed for 205 yards and two touchdowns on 26 carries. As a team, the Eagles totaled 285 rushing yards and three scores while averaging 8.4 yards per carry. attempt.

Jalen Hurts wasn’t asked to throw the ball often, but he remained effective despite being sacked six times. Hurts finished 15-of-20 for 128 yards.

Philadelphia held a 13-point advantage with just over four minutes left in regulation, but Los Angeles stayed within striking distance by scoring a quick touchdown and forcing the Eagles to punt.

The Rams drove down to Philadelphia’s 13-yard line, but they ultimately turned the ball over on downs and failed to record a potential game-winning score.

With the Eagles’ victory, they will host their NFC East rivals after the Washington Commanders defeated the Detroit Lions on Saturday night.
