After Pom Perfection, Minnesota Dance Team Shines at UDA College Nationals

The Minnesota Dance Team has been making waves 2025 UDA College Nationalswho impress fans from all over the country with their technical prowess and intense passion on the floor. In less than an hour, the results will be announced for the DIA Pom semifinals to see where their jaw pom routine falls among the rest.

On Friday night, the University of Minnesota dance team scored a 95.2381, the highest in the DIA jazz prelims competition, to kick off the massive weekend on ESPN Wide World of Sports.

The Golden Gophers currently hold 22 UDA National Championship titles and are the defending Division IA Pom champions.

On Saturday, they returned to the performance floor to take on a near-perfect pom routine in the DIA Pom semifinals that showcased the tradition and heritage of Minnesota dance. They earned 97.3, about three points ahead of second- and third-place Ohio State and the University of Cincinnati as they prepare for the finals on Sunday.

But fortunately for us fans at home and in Orlando, there is still much more to come.

As they prepare for the final leg of the competition, here’s a look at their impressive performances thus far and their upcoming performance plan for the Minnesota Dance team as they aim to add even more national championship titles to their dominant history.

Minnesota Dance Team Schedule at UDA College Nationals

All Times Eastern.

Minnesota competed in the DIA Pom Semifinals on January 18 at 12:22 p.m. (State Farm Field House).
- The DIA pom finals begin on January 19 at 12:07 (AdventHealth Arena – South).
Minnesota will compete in the DIA jazz semifinals on January 18 at 6:14 p.m. (State Farm Field House).
- DIA jazz finals begin on January 19 at 16.00 (AdventHealth Arena – South).
