Jeff Bezos’ fiancee Lauren Sánchez wears white to the Trump inauguration

Lauren Sánchez took a page from Hillary Clinton’s book. Kind of.

Sánchez, the fiancee of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, wore a white pantsuit to President Donald Trump’s inauguration, which was held in the Capitol Hill rotunda because of freezing weather in the nation’s capital. It addressed the outfit former Secretary of State Clinton wore Trump’s first inauguration in 2017. She had lost the 2016 election to him just months before.

Sánchez was one of several women who wore white in front among Trump’s political allies.

Clinton originally wore a white pantsuit to the 2016 Democratic National Convention, which paid tribute to the suffragist movement. This energy later followed during the Women’s March in 2017; a smaller protest was held in Washington last weekend ahead of Trump’s second inauguration.

As always, some on social media chimed in about the fashion: “Lauren Sanchez looks both lovely and appropriate in winter white. Lots of winter white today and I like it!!” wrote an X userwhile others were more critical of her outfit choice for being too risqué for the occasion. She has been criticized for such clothing choices in the past.
