All the performers announced for Donald Trump’s inauguration, plus a ‘special guest’

Donald Trump will be sworn in for his second term as president of the United States on Monday, January 20.

The Trump Vance Inauguration Committee called the series of inaugural events a “historic return to the White House and the decisive voice of the American people to Make America Great Again” in a statement released on January 13.

“These special events will honor the rich history and tradition of our great nation, the American people, and the promise our country holds for future generations,” Steve Witkoff and Kelly Loeffler, co-chairs of the committee, said in the statement.

Several artists will take the stage during the 60th Presidential Inauguration and the events surrounding Trump’s inauguration ceremony.

Who will perform at Trump’s inauguration?

Carrie Underwood

Country singer Carrie Underwood confirmed to TODAY.com that she will appear at the inauguration ceremony of the newly elected president.

“I love our country and am honored to have been asked to sing at the inauguration and be a small part of this historic event,” Underwood said. “I am humbled to answer the call at a time when we must all come together in a spirit of unity and look forward.”

The Trump Vance Inaugural Committee revealed in a Jan. 15 release that Underwood will perform “America the Beautiful.”

Lee Greenwood

Lee Greenwood, known for his song “God Bless the USA”, will take the stage at the inauguration.

“I am humbled and honored to be asked to perform for our 47th President Donald J. Trump during his inaugural events,” Greenwood said in a statement shared with TODAY.com.

“The president has been a friend of Kim and I for many years, and this is one of the most historic moments of our lifetime. I look forward to celebrating this special day with proud Americans everywhere,” he continued, referring to his wife, Kimberly Payne.

Christopher Macchio

Classical singer Christopher Macchio is scheduled to sing the national anthem at the inauguration, the singer announced on January 13.

“It is with profound humility and gratitude that I have accepted @realDonaldTrump President Donald J. Trump’s gracious invitation to perform our National Anthem at the inauguration of our 47th President,” he shared on X on 13 January.

He continued, “By opening and closing this grand ceremony with music celebrating our nation, I hope to help restore the spirit of unity, strength and love of country that will help make America great again.”

Who performs at the inauguration balls?

Jason Aldean

Country singer Jason Aldean is set to perform at the Liberty Ball, one of three balls held for the incoming president on the night of the inauguration. Trump is expected to speak at all three.

Aldean and Trump have had a public friendship since at least 2022, when the “Dirt Road Anthem” singer attended a New Year’s party at Trump’s Florida home, according to a photo he shared on Instagram.

He too introduced Trump at a rally in Georgia, Aldean’s home state, in October 2024.

Village people

The The Village People will perform at the inauguration, lead singer Victor Willis announced that Facebook January 13.

“Announcing today that VILLAGE PEOPLE has accepted an invitation from President Elect Trump’s campaign to attend inauguration activities, including at least one event with President Elect Trump,” Willis wrote, sharing a photo of the group. “We know this won’t make some of you happy to hear, but we believe music should be performed without regard to politics.”

He continued: “Our song ‘YMCA’ is a global anthem that will hopefully help bring the country together after a tumultuous and divisive campaign in which our favorite candidate lost. That’s why we believe now is the time to bring the country together with music, and therefore VILLAGE PEOPLE will perform at various events as part of the 2025 inauguration of Donald J. Trump.”

Trump often used “YMCA” at his presidential campaign events. In December 2024, Willis shared further social media that he had received over 1,000 complaints about Trump’s use of the song.

Willis said he previously asked Trump to stop using the song because it had become such an “embarrassment” to him. However, he noted that the campaign obtained a political use license to play the song.

Rascal Flatts

Rascal Flatts will perform in 2019.

Rascal Flatts comes on stage at the Commander’s Ball, the first inaugural ball of the evening, announced the inaugural committee.

The musical group, which sings hits like “Life is a Highway” and “Bless the Broken Road,” consists of lead vocalist Gary LeVox, guitarist Joe Don Rooney and pianist Jay DeMarcus.

“I am so humbled and honored and grateful for the opportunity again to play the inauguration of the 46th President of the United States,” LeVox wrote on Instagram.

LeVox performed at the 2017 Veterans Inaugural Ball during Trump’s first inauguration.

Gavin DeGraw

Gavin DeGraw will appear on stage in 2024.

Gavin DeGraw joins the list of performers calling in for Trump’s inauguration as he prepares to perform at the Starlight Ball.

At this point, the “Not Over You” singer is billed as the only performer at the ball, which is the last of the night.

Parker McCollum

Parker McCollum will appear in 2024.

Country singer Parker McCollum will join Rascal Flatts for the inaugural Commander in Chief Ball.

The “Like a Cowboy” singer hasn’t been shy about sharing his political views online. In January 2022, McCollum shared a post on X containing images of a Trump rally in Texas.

“Donald Trump in Conroe, TX bra…never thought I’d see the day,” he wrote at the time.

Special musical guest

Nelly

Trump Vance’s inauguration committee confirmed January 18 it raps Nelly is the “special guest artist” at Freedom Ball on Monday.

While performing on “Willie D Live” podcast On January 18, Nelly told host Willie D that he represents the “office” of the President of the United States, adding that he considers “Candidate Trump” and “President Trump” to be two separate people.

“I’m not a politician, you didn’t see me out there on the campaign trail. You didn’t see me out there saying you should vote for this candidate. You didn’t see me out there saying you should vote for this candidate,” Nelly told in part Willie D. “But I’m honored to be out there and perform for the office, for the President of the United States.”

Who will perform at the MAGA Rally?

Village people

The inauguration committee confirmed Wednesday that in addition to the inauguration ceremony, The Village People will also perform at the Make America Great Again rally on Jan. 19.

In the group’s Facebook post Monday, The Village People wrote that they accepted an invitation to “participate in opening activities.”

Billy Ray Cyrus

Billy Ray Cyrus will perform in 2019.

Billy Ray Cyrus has joined the lineup and is scheduled to perform at the MAGA Rally on January 19th.

Cyrus has previously been open about her support for Trump and shared a photo of Facebook in August 2024 a thump up next to the former president.

“I stand here with former US President Donald J. Trump as a proud AMERICAN,” he wrote in part.

Kid Rock

The MAGA rally will also feature Kid Rock, who has also been transparent about his support for Trump on social media.

In November, Kid Rock shared a compilation video featuring Trump and incoming Vice President JD Vance Instagramwrites, “Vote Trump.”

Lee Greenwood

Greenwood is also set to take the stage at the MAGA rally on January 19, in addition to his appearance at the swearing-in ceremony on January 20.

Liberty University Praise Choir

The Praise Choir at Liberty University, a Christian college located in central Virginia, is scheduled to perform at the MAGA rally.

In 2017, it was gospel choir participated in the 58th presidential inaugurationwhen Trump was last sworn into office.

Back then, the university’s choral group sang during a service for Trump and former Vice President Mike Pence at the National Cathedral.
