Some North Jersey schools are opting for delayed openings on Tuesday, January 21st

The snow may have hit Sunday, but some schools are calling for delayed openings Tuesday because of the cold temperatures.

“Due to the single digit temperatures and the danger of a refreeze that could potentially affect early morning travel, Butler Schools will operate on a 2-hour delayed opening schedule tomorrow,” Butler Public Schools wrote on its website. Facebook page.

The National Weather Service has issued a cold weather advisory for Tuesday with “very cold wind chills as low as 13 below” for Morris, Sussex, Warren and Hunterdon counties in New Jersey.
