Public health website providing information on abortion appears to be disabled

A public health website offering birth control and emergency abortion guidance appears to have been disabled after Trump took office.

home page, reproductiverights.govwas launched by the Biden administration in response to the US Supreme Court’s decision to overturn national abortion rights. It detailed ways women could obtain birth control, abortion pills, and emergency abortions.

The Biden administration had argued that hospitals, even in states with strict abortion bans, should be required to provide emergency abortions for women with serious pregnancy complications such as placental abruption, ectopic pregnancy or incomplete abortions.
