VIA Severe winter weather watch expected in San Antonio

VIA is closely monitoring forecasts and travel conditions, including cold temperatures and icy roads, that could affect VIA services anywhere Monday evening, January 20 and in Tuesday 21 January 2025.

Bus, VIAtrans and VIA Link services will continue to operate as long as it is safe to do so. Route detours, service disruptions and schedule adjustments due to severe weather will be posted on VIA’s Service Alerts page, VIA’s social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), and through local news.

We ask customers to monitor for service and weather updates and plan accordingly, including building in extra time for travel and warm clothing. Customers can also call VIA goLine at (210) 362-2020 for information.
