Isabella Rossellini looks glamorous in red at the 2025 Golden Globes

IN ConclaveItalian actress Isabella Rossellini steals every scene she’s in as Sister Agnes, a nun working in the Vatican during the papal conclave. “I know my role is to be invisible and I’ve been a shadow throughout the film, but the truth is the truth and when she says it, she does it with purity. She is not part of this power struggle, she cannot vote or become pope or even cardinal, but she still has great authority,” she shared T&C.

Her performance has received widespread critical acclaim, even though she is only in the religious drama for less than 8 minutes of screen time. At the Golden Globes tonight, Rossellini is nominated for Best Supporting Actress.

For the occasion, she wore a glamorous red lace dress – which was custom made by Dolce & Gabbana – complete with a cape and statement earrings.
