‘Chicago Fire’ alum Brian J. White participates in citizen’s arrest of potential arsonist amid LA fires

Former “Chicago Fire” star Brian J. White jumped into action in a dramatic citizen’s arrest, helping his neighbors stop and detain a man with a blowtorch who they suspect was allegedly trying to start a fire in White’s dumpster — all this occurred as the Kenneth Fire in West Hills, California moved closer to White’s home. Speaking about the experience with Deadline, White said he used the hostage negotiation training he received while working on various TV shows until the police arrived. The LAPD did not have enough evidence to arrest the individual for arson, but he was arrested for a probation violation.
