USA vs. Venezuela, 2025 Friendly: Time, TV schedule, streaming and lineups

The U.S. Men’s National Team takes the field for the first time in 2025 this afternoon when they take on Venezuela in a January friendly. The USMNT, with a squad made up almost entirely of MLS-based players, looks to begin the year with a win and establish some momentum for the year.

Mauricio Pochettino is in his first January camp as head coach and he finally has a chance to implement much of his methodology with players looking to show they can be reliable as the year progresses with an eye on next summer’s World Cup. They take on a Venezuela team that can play physical and will try to make it USA with solid play and the ability to dabble in creativity while also playing in the trenches.

The USMNT lineup may feature some veterans along with players looking to make a name for themselves. That hopefully means spirited play as they look to impress Pochettino and aim for victory in Fort Lauderdale.
