Texans RB Joe Mixon (ankle) active for divisional round game vs. Chiefs

In last week’s Wild Card Weekend win against the Los Angeles Chargers, Mixon carried the ball 25 times for 106 yards and a touchdown. He became the second Texans player with more than 100 rushing yards in a playoff game, according to NFL Research.

No other Texan recorded more than three carries against the Chargers.

This season, Mixon has shown his ability as a true workhorse with 245 carries, 1,016 yards and 11 touchdowns. Texans RB has eight games with 100-plus rushing yards in 2024, including playoffs. He earned his second Pro Bowl honor in his first campaign with the Texans.

Mixon and the Texans face the host Chiefs at 4:30 PM ET Saturday at Arrowhead Stadium.
