DETROIT – Another defensive starter was injured for the Detroit Lions just two minutes into their first playoff game.

Seed Lions no. 1 hosts the Washington Commanders no. 6 in the divisional round at Ford Field. With a win, they would get to host the NFC Championship Game next week.

But the injury bug has already reared its ugly head as cornerback Amik Robertson went down on just the second defensive play of the game.

The Commanders ran a quick screen out to the right and Robertson was making the tackle when he took a hard shot from teammate Jack Campbell.

Robertson stayed down on the field and walked off with two trainers, one of whom held his left arm very carefully.

With Carlton Davis already out, the Lions can’t afford any more attrition in the secondary. Even more will now fall on the shoulders of rookie Terrion Arnold, who is returning from his own injury.
