Fire breaks out near Pasadena after various fires ravaged LA County’s western neighborhoods

LOS ANGELES COUNTY, California – As firefighters worked around the clock to respond to the massive fire in Pacific Palisades, another fire broke out in LA County — this time near Pasadena.

The “Eaton fire” was first reported near Altadena Drive and Midwick Drive shortly after 1 p.m. 6:15 p.m. on January 7 near the Altadena-Pasadena area. At last check, the fire spread to 200 acres with 0% containment, according to Cal Fire.

Tuesday at 19, officials did not say whether the fire had caused damage to nearby buildings or homes in the area.
