Confirmed lineups | Spurs vs Liverpool on 8 January 2025

We can confirm the starting line-ups and substitutions for tonight’s Carabao Cup semi-final clash with Liverpool (8pm UK).

Ange Postecoglou has made four changes to the team that started Saturday’s Premier League clash with Newcastle United.

There’s a Spurs debutant tonight as Antonin Kinsky starts between the sticks for us – he’s our first debutant in a cup semi-final since fellow goalkeeper Ben Alnwick in the second leg of our League Cup semi-final clash with Burnley in 2009.

Elsewhere, Rodrigo Bentancur and Yves Bissouma return to the heart of midfield with Pape Matar Sarr suspended and Brennan Johnson starting the game among the substitutes. Heung-Min Son also returns to the starting XI with Timo Werner on the substitutes’ bench.

There is also a first matchday appearance for Yang Min-Hyeok, who arrived to start his Spurs journey earlier this month.

Starting XI: Kinsky, Pedro Porro, Dragusin, Gray, Spence, Bissouma, Bentancur, Bergvall, Kulusevski, Solanke, Son (C).

Substitutes: Austin, Dorrington, Reguilon, Olusesi, Moore, Min-Hyeok, Johnson, Werner, Lankshear.
