Running list of Los Angeles restaurants affected by the 2025 wildfires

On January 7, amid life-threatening high-speed winds over Los Angeles, several wildfires broke out, including one in Pacific Palisades that later spread to Malibu and also in Eaton Canyon, near Altadena. In the evening Mayor Karen Bass declared state of emergency for Los Angeles in response to the many growing fires.

The Palisades fire has quickly grew to nearly 3000 acres as of 7:30 p.m., officials have declared a mandatory evacuation order beginning at Santa Monica’s northern border and extending to Topanga Canyon and Mulholland Boulevard. ABC News estimates that 30,000 people are evacuating homes, and 10,000 homes are at risk. The fire has since spread to Malibu, destroying longtime restaurants and bars in its path, including Reel Inn, Cholada Thai and Rosenthal Wine Bar.

The Eaton Canyon fire was first reported around 6:30 p.mbut officials have already declared mandatory evacuations across Altadena and surrounding neighborhoods.

Both of these regions are populated by a number of restaurants. As Eater confirms fire-related closings and affected restaurants, this list will be updated.
