Heidi Montag shares heartbreak after home destroyed in LA fires

Heidi Montag Pratt shares her heartache.

On Wednesday, January 8, the reality TV star, 38, broke down in tears following the destruction of the Pacific Palisades home she shares with husband Spencer Pratt.

“It really just comes in waves, but I just really want to go home,” Heidi said through her tears in one TikTok video when she was carrying her son Ryker, 2.

“I want to see all my stuff and sit on my couch,” she added. “I’m so homesick.”

Her caption also read: “Missing home.”

Heidi, who also shares son Gunner, 7, with Spencer, 41, then shared another video of how the family evacuated from the fire with minimal belongings.

“The craziest thing when you’re packing for a campfire is you just get nervous,” she said. “You say, ‘What do I need? What don’t I need?’ It is so overwhelming.”

The mother-of-two added that she escaped with only two pairs of jeans and two shirts.

“I have so many more clothes for the kids,” she continued, adding that “the most important thing is that we’re safe and got out.”

“Part of you just wants to leave things and think like, ‘I’ll be back.’ You know, “of course I’ll be back,” she added, getting emotional.

“Just praying for everyone else going through this and all my friends and loved ones,” she added. “Just thank God we have our health and our kids and I know that, I’m just trying to focus on the gratitude.”

“It just kind of comes in waves,” The hills alum said before saying, “God uses everything for good. I don’t know how or why or anything, but I know God uses everything for good.”

Heidi’s updates come after Spencer shared a video on TikTok of their home and the surrounding areas go up in flames on Wednesday.

“Oh wow, it’s back!” Spencer said in the clip. “Too real…let’s go!”

After the news, Heidi shared a clip of herself crying as she sat next to her son Ryker.

“So sad our house is gone,” she said as Ryker looked up and wiped away his mother’s tears.

Spencer’s sister Stephanie Pratt, 38, also revealed that their parents’ home had been destroyed in the wildfire.

“Just heard my parent’s house burned down too. No info on my status yet. Whole town flat. It’s burning 2 football fields every 6 seconds. 0% contained,” she wrote above a photo of her looking to cry.

Over 80,000 people have so far been displaced by the fires in Los Angeles. Stars who have lost their homes include Anna Faris, Leighton Meester and Adam Brody and Paris Hilton.
