Joe Biden pays tribute at Jimmy Carter’s funeral: Watch the full video

The nation said a proper farewell to former President Jimmy Carter during his funeral in Washington DC on Thursday.

President Joe Biden, who declared Thursday a national day of mourning after Carter died on Dec. 29 at age 100, delivered the tribute.

After lying in state at the Capitol this week, Carter’s remains were taken to the Washington National Cathedral.

Following the funeral service, his remains will be brought to his hometown of Plains, Georgia, for a private funeral and burial on Thursday evening.
