Firefighters from Nevada join the fight against the historic wildfire in Los Angeles

Southern Nevada firefighters are preparing to tackle what is being described as the worst wildfire in Los Angeles history.

A strike team of nearly 50 personnel from the Clark County, Las Vegas, Henderson and Pahrump fire departments is en route to Southern California to assist in firefighting efforts.

Clark County Fire Chief John Steinbeck said, “Clark County, Las Vegas, Henderson and Pahrump fire departments (are) responding to the call.”
