Stats Summary: 3 stats from after the Dallas Mavericks fell to the Denver Nuggets

The Dallas Mavericks dropped a lopsided contest to the Denver Nuggets, 118-99 on Tuesday night in Dallas.

After a game in which Dallas built a lead that slipped away and eventually lost a close one to Denver on Sunday, this one was largely washed out from the jump. Rinse it out. Forget about it. This one was a stinker.

Infinite: Articles to be written connecting Shedeur Sanders to the Cowboys

Win or lose, the content must flow. Unfortunately for us here at Mavs Moneyball dot com, there isn’t much to say about this one. However, our loss is the Cowboys’ writer’s gain, as Shedeur Sander’s presence throughout the game is sure to generate enough hot takes to power a city block. Is Deion Giving Dallas Showtime?!

1: Maverick with a positive plus/minus

The Chosen One, Oliver-Maxence Prosper. If the fourth quarter was the game, and not just a live scrimmage between each team’s deep bench, it would have been a more interesting contest. In fact, Dallas would have prevailed as they won the frame 32-27, led by Prosper’s 10 points.

5th: Under 100 point game this season

Dallas has had five games this year where they fell short of 100 points and lost four of them. (They pulled off a surprising 98-89 defensive contest against Phoenix this season). Dallas’ roster is in a tough spot with injuries, which is felt most on the offensive side of the ball. Even with Kyrie Irving back in the lineup, albeit with minutes, the offense was flat most of the night.
