Is Citibank down? Users report app disconnection, scam alerts

Hundreds of Citibank customers reported receiving scam messages and problems accessing their accounts on Wednesday.

According to Down detectora service that tracks outages, hundreds of Citibank users began flagging problems around 9:00 a.m. ET.

Citibank was “aware of the issue and working to resolve it,” the bank wrote the X in response to customer complaints.

Meanwhile, Citibank customers have taken to X to share that the bank’s mobile app was “down” and unable to reach customer service representatives. Other users reported receiving one fraud alertt from the bank.
