Chaos reigns at the Australian Open as Danielle Collins pulls out of intense match against Destanee Aiava due to alleged injury

Danielle Collins is struggling to keep up with her season-opening Slam commitments at the Australian Open. Arriving on the back of a second consecutive United Cup win with Team USA, the American star flew to Melbourne and recorded a remarkable start to his singles campaign. However, the subsequent round has marred her with physical limitations.

She locked horns with home favorite Destanee Aiava at the Show Court Arena, two days after upsetting Daria Snigur in a thrilling battle at Melbourne Park. Despite a successful start to the contest by taking the opening set, Collins was unable to maintain his rhythm against the Australian player in the second. When the chips were down and all hope seemed lost, the 31-year-old shocked everyone to the core when she requested a medical time-out (MTO).

According to the reports coming out of Melbourne, Collins is probably suffering from a problem in his right foot and even took some medicine to counter the problem.
