Jamahal Hill completes epic UFC 311 body transformation after ballooning up to 260 lbs

Jamahal Hill has lost a huge amount of weight to get ready for UFC 311.

The former light-heavyweight champion has not fought since suffering a first round injury knockout loss to Alex Pereira at UFC 300 April last year.

On Saturday night, ‘Sweet Dreams’ fights fellow Pereira KO victim Jiri Prochazka in a hotly anticipated 205lb title eliminator at the Intuit Dome in California.

24 hours before, Jamahal Hill will step on the scale to weigh in and make his 55lb body transformation official.

Jamahal Hill details weight loss journey ahead of UFC 311

Hill was set to make his comeback against Carlos Ulberg at UFC 303 last June.

Unfortunately, a series of injury problems forced him off the map and led to an extended spell out of action.

“Two tears in my meniscus, sprain of my ACL, a Baker cyst that was leaking fluid on the back of my knee, and an infusion in some joints!” Hill wrote on Instagram at the time.

The 33-year-old decided to give his body the proper time to heal, which led to him gaining some weight.

However, it ultimately paid off as he is in good shape ahead of his clash with Prochazka this weekend.

“It’s been smooth sailing,” Hill said of his weight loss journey during UFC 311 media day on Wednesday.

“I think after the injury I was probably around 260kg. A couple of times when I would try to test it, to train, it didn’t feel right (healed).

“This was back in August or September. So I took some time and decided to just rest and let it all go. It was a good decision because I’m getting some good results with it.

“The weight loss has not been hard at all. I’ve had my girl, Adaire (Byerly), she’s done the food, she’s talked to the great Ian Larios and they’ve done the meal plans.

“So I still eat really good food. She’s a phenomenal cook.”

Michael Bisping predicts carnage at UFC 311

Michael Bisping is particularly excited to see Hill vs Prochazka at UFC 311.

The former middleweight champion and Hall of Famer is expecting fireworks when the 205lb contenders meet.

“I can’t wait for his fight,” Bisping told TNT Sports.

“This could be Fight of the Night. As long as it lasts, it’s going to be one of the most exciting fights you’re ever going to see.

“Someone is going to be knocked out with a cold. I guarantee it”
