State Sen. Colton Moore signals he won’t be allowed into the House for the State of the State address after being barred from the chamber last year

The Governors State Of The State Address is set for today, January 16, in the chamber of the Georgia House of Representatives, but not everyone is allowed, Georgia House Speaker Jon Burns has told Northwest Georgia State Senator Colton Moore that he will not be allowed to attend a joint session today. Senator Moore of the 53rd District says he is leaving. Moore says “Speaker Jon Burns is trying to ARREST and BLOCK me from representing the 53rd District at tomorrow’s State of the State joint session. “This corrupt move is an attempt to silence your voice and mine.” Burns says unless Moore apologizes .For comments about former Speaker David Raulston, the reason for his rejection from the House Chambers last year, he will remain barred from entering.
