Real Madrid will be without first-choice goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois for their Copa del Rey match against Celta de Vigo on Thursday night, which Ancelotti left him out of the squad.

After his surprising omission from the roster the day before the game, fans searched to find out whether the Belgian had suffered an injury or not during the disastrous accident that was the Spanish Super Cup final in Saudi Arabia, where Barcelona tore Madrid apart like a coconut, crushing them 2-5.

But the loud buzz of fans was settled when it was revealed that Thibaut Courtois had simply been left out of the Copa del Rey squad due to fatiguewhere the stopper has played plenty in recent weeks.

As such, Andriy Lunin will take his place between the sticks and look to keep an Iago Aspas-less Celta team away from making their mark on the 360º scoreboard at the stadium.
