The traitors Season 3 spoilers follow.

The traitors has teased an “extraordinary” twist ahead of next week’s finale, which is set to air on Friday, January 24.

Tonight’s episode (January 17) ended with a ‘coming soon’ preview clip of next week’s final episode, with host Claudia Winkleman telling the players that one of them would have the chance to receive an “extraordinary power”.

“One of you will gain an extraordinary power that can turn the entire game upside down,” she told the excited and shocked group.

Meanwhile, during breakfast, it was revealed that Pastor Lisa had been murdered, confirming that the traitors Minah and Charlotte had not unknowingly chosen a player with a secret shield, and their risk paid off.

“I saw this coming,” Lisa said as she read her kill note. “Very polite when they stab you in the back, isn’t it? I think being assassinated is a sign that the traitors think you’re a threat.”

Later, the players took on a physical mission where Jake opened up about his disability and told Alexander that he was born with cerebral palsy.

“I was born with cerebral palsy, which affects my right arm and right leg. It’s been a struggle growing up knowing I’m not the same as everyone else,” he said.

Elsewhere, things heated up at the round table as the final nine players began to turn on each other. Eventually, Faithful Leon was exiled, leaving only five Faithfuls in the mix and two Traitors.

Finally, as a special treat for the group, Claudia said they would have a dinner party where they had a heart to heart about what they wanted to do with the prize money and the traitors met in the tower where they chose to potentially assassinate Jake, Joe or Leanne.
