QSRs launch new innovations for 2025

Taco Bell launched its first LTO offering in 2025—Cheesy Dipping Burritos, according to a press release. The two “dipping” burritos come with grilled marinated steak or Cantina slow-fried chicken, plus a choice of creamy chipotle, nacho cheese sauce or low-fat sour cream for $4.99. Taco Bell said these burritos were tested in Detroit last year and “quickly became a fan favorite.”

Jimmy John’s has brought its back Kickin’ Ranchdescribed as a fresh blend of peppers, garlic, onions, parsley, black pepper and paprika. Along with its return, the chain introduced:

  • Kickin’ Ranch Chicken Wrap: A permanent menu item with chicken, provolone, onion, lettuce, tomato, Jimmy Peppers and Kickin’ Ranch in a flour tortilla.
  • Kickin’ Ranch Jimmy Chips: Available for a limited time, combining the crunch of Jimmy Chips with a Kickin’ Ranch flavor.

In honor of National Bagel Day on January 15, Panera Bread Company released new Asiago Bagel Stacks, described as “cheesy flavors on a signature Asiago Bagel with bold, satisfying ingredients.” The LTO sandwiches, priced at $7.99, come in three flavors:

  • Chicken Roma: Grilled chicken, mozzarella, tomatoes, basil, arugula, Green Goddess dressing, salt and pepper, plus a garlic aioli drizzle.
  • Seasoned steak: Steak with provolone, salsa verde spread, rocket, red onion and fresh pepper.
  • Exciting Tuscans: Grilled chicken, soppressata, provolone, basil, arugula, sweet pepper and garlic aioli sprinkle.

Hardee’s is adding maple flavor to its menu with the new Maple Bacon Super Biscuit and Sausage Maple Biscuit. “The maple-flavored maple biscuit is available in a two- or four-pack, along with the Maple Bacon Frisco Burger and Maple Bacon Snack Pack, for a limited time.” according to Hardee’s.
