UFC 311 Results, Live Streaming Updates | Makhachev vs. Moicano PPV

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) brings us UFC 311 TONIGHT (Sat. 18 Jan 2025), streaming LIVE on ESPN+ PPV from inside the newly opened Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. UFC 311’s pay-per-view (PPV) main event was supposed to be a rematch for the lightweight title, which was the dominant champion, Islam Makhachevagainst Arman Tsarukyan. These two fought back in 2019, with Makhachev getting a hard-fought decision over Tsarukyan. However, Tsarukyan pulled out of the match due to an injury on Friday. It means Renato Moicano – who were already scheduled to meet Beneil Dariush – has been drafted for an explosive title fight at 155 pounds.

And he is ready to “shock the world!”

UFC 311 PPV’s co-main event is a bantamweight title fight. division champion, Merab Dvalishvili, will try to defend his belt for the first time against the no. 1-seed candidate, Umar Nurmagomedov. Despite some airline issues, both Nurmagomedov and Makhachev will have former UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov in their corners of LA County.

Dagestan dominance?

The main card also features a match-up of former light heavyweight champions (and Alex Pereira victims) with Jiri Prochazka meeting Jamal Hill. The stacked PPV card has too Jailton Almeida vs. Sergei Spivac and Kevin Holland vs. Reinier de Ridder.

UFC 311’s “Prelims” are also pretty good. These are the headlines of top prospects Payton Talbott. He is fighting Raoni Barcelos. Also on “Prelims” is Grant Dawson vs. Diego Ferreira and Zachary Reese vs. Azamat Bekoev.
