When the commentators turn on Patrick Mahomes, it’s finally gone too far.

The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback is still the subject of controversy as penalties continue to go against him Houston Texas entering the fourth quarter of Saturday’s AFC divisional round.

During the first quarter, Will Anderson was slapped with a roughing the passer call after barely hitting Mahomes on a pass. That led to a field goal by Harrison Butker.

In the third quarter, Mahomes tried to run and began to slide. On his way down, Henry To’oTo’o made the tackle, which led to another late hit against the Texans and a first down. Kansas City would march down the field to extend the lead by eight with a Travis Kelce 11-yard touchdown.

Fans are tired of the referees giving the three-time Super Bowl winner special treatment. CJ Stroud has been hit late a handful of times, but the other Mahomes gets touched, a flag and extra 15 yards on the way.
