“We’re just so excited and crazy about having a baby together,” Demi-Leigh shared People magazine in an interview published Tuesday.

“I’m so grateful because I just couldn’t imagine a better life partner to live life with first and foremost,” she added. “Being able to raise a tiny little human together. I’m so thankful that Tim is my husband… that we get to parent together.”

She told People that she is 16 weeks pregnant.

The two added that it was “surreal” to think about becoming parents. They each spoke glowingly of each other as they talked about why their partner would make great parents.

Tim pointed out Demi-Leigh’s fierceness.

“She will be extremely loyal and loving. Demi is someone who is extremely determined,” he said. “When she decides on something, she goes all in – and I know she will as a mother too.”

Demi-Leigh called her husband “extremely gracious” and “one of the most thoughtful people.”

“I just think he’s one of the smartest people I’ve ever met — and I know that’s a bold statement to make, but I really believe it. Just the way he approaches every single day ,” she said.
