How to Watch ‘Severance’ Season 2 Free: Release Time, Trailer

It’s time to get back on the chipped floor.

Three years after the first season aired, “Severance” on Apple TV+ is back for a “weirder and wilder” Season 2.

If you weren’t already convinced that the show could get weirder or wilder, just look at the promotion for it. Earlier this week, the “Severance” cast showed up at Grand Central Station in character to “work” in a glass cube with their office setup inside.

In her review of the new season, The Post’s TV reporter Lauren Sarner wrote, “Every scene crackles with tension as you never know what will happen next, and something is possible. Some plot questions are answered while others are raised.”

“Severance” takes place at the mysterious Lumon Industries, specifically on the “cut off” floor where employees who choose to be laid off work. They have undergone a procedure that essentially splits their brains: at work they are one person (an “innie”) and at home completely different (an “outie”) and the two will never cross paths. Work stays at work, home stays at home. But things at Lumon are not quite as they seem, and the Macrodata Refinement team moved closer to getting to the bottom of it as Season 1 came to an abrupt end.

Season 2 of “Severance” is released every week; new episodes hit Apple TV+ every Friday.
