Jim Jones admits Mase taught him “How to rap” in revived clips

Jim Jones’ recent statements regarding Cam’ron and Ma$e have resulted in the duo responding via their It is what it is Instagram page, with a recent post reminding followers of Jones’ previous praise of the “Feel So Good” rapper for teaching him “how to rap.”

Shared to the podcast’s Instagram Stories on Thursday (January 9) evening, the post was reshared from @masetevision features several clips of the “Ballin'” artist crediting his fellow Harlemite as the MC who taught him to rap. It should be noted, however, that in the fifth clip, Talib Kweli tries to credit Jones for giving Ma$e “his flowers,” but Jim replies, “I don’t give him flowers, f**k it.” This indicates that while Jones could acknowledge Ma$e’s role in his development, there were still unresolved issues between the two. This post followed several others shared by the podcast’s social media page after Jones told Justin Laboy in a recent interview that he “saw Ma$e sh*t on Cam” during their since-resolved beef. Jones also claimed that when the former Bad Boy signee started making decent money, he “lost his mind” and abused those around him.

In response, It is what it is shared clip of Cam and Ma$e along with the caption: “THERE IS NO BETTER FEELING WHEN YOU CAN LAUGH ABOUT DISSING EACH OTHERS PAST WHAT HAPPINESS AND MAKING A LOT OF MONEY LOOKS LIKE TOGETHER… WE HERE WE GO AND PUSH IT TO THE LIMIT.'”

While 50 Cent also answered to comments about him and Cam during Jones’ interview, Jones has not direct approached either man since Q&A’s release. However, he shared again a post from a colleague who claims they saw Cam’ron allow Jim Jones to be jumped in Harlem by eight men from Brooklyn, which could partially explain much of the tension between the Dipset members.
