Zendaya and Tom Holland engagement rumors confirmed after Golden Globes ring debut

(TNND) — After sparking rumors at the Golden Globes, TMZ has confirmed that Tom Holland and Zendaya are engaged.

The couple is taking their relationship to the next level after close sources told TMZ that the “Spider-Man” actor, who was released between Christmas and New Year’s at one of Zendaya’s family homes.

Zendaya debuted her engagement ring on Sunday Golden Globesand fans quickly took to social media to comment, with one writing“It’s a rock.”

The engagement was described as “romantic and intimate,” according to TMZ. No family or friends were present as the proposal was reportedly “just a sweet moment” between the couple.

Rumors of romance between Holland and Zendaya began in 2017 when the pair began working together as on-screen love interests in recent Spider-Man installments. A source said E! News that same year that “they got to know each other on set…became friends and started getting romantic a few months ago.”

Although the couple denied dating rumors for years, their undeniable chemistry on and off screen led them to go public with their relationship in 2021.

Now, almost four years later, the couple is preparing to tie the knot. However, sources say that they are yet to start wedding planning due to their busy work schedules and upcoming projects.
